Yep, kapha person! Cool. So, ask him if he still wants his chocolate milk (I think there's chocolate rice milk isn't there? Might be a better option) even tho it's making his nose run, or if he'd rather stop taking it. :)
Wheat bread isn't all that much better than white bread. In fact, if we have a problem with wheat, it's better to eat white bread because there's less real wheat in it! LOL! too funny.
Bread products will always be on the acid side, no matter what they're made of. It helps to make it zuccini bread or carrot, but really, bread is bread. So then you have to take into consideration why you're eating it and what you want from it. If you want total pleasure, and are only eating a couple slices a week, might as well eat white if you are gluten or wheat sensitive due to overdosing on wheat based products for decades.
I tend to save my flour rations for pancakes (I use a good Bob's Red Mill flour for those) and my refined flour rations for cakes and the occasional sourdough toast to mop up an egg or the dinnr out with the great toasty french bread. :)
