B6 deficiency: Low hcl, depression, sensitivity to light

Great question, thanks! I'd forgotten about that connection. :)

Vit B6 is necessary for the body to manufacture HCL.

So it's part of the never-ending cycle of digestive complaints - if there's an inflammatory condition in the digestive system, then that impedes Vitamin B absorbtion. Lack of Vit Bs means less HCL, so less digestion, which leads to more inflammation.

So if you have candida, Crohn's, IBS, celiac disease, chances are you're low on B6 and all the other B's. Birth control pills and certain toxins in phony foods will rob the body of B6 too.

Insomnia, sensitivity to bright light, depression, acne, water retention, carpal tunnel, tingling/numbness in extremeties, are the most common symptom of a lack of B6 and B's in general.
