Kidneys

Do you have any advice regarding kidneys? I was at an acupuncturist today to see if he could help with my constant headache. Little did I know he was also a physiotherapist and an osteopath. I was only in my bra and knickers(thought he would have had a gown) and he was cracking my neck before I knew it! It wasn't sore but it was so unexpected I yelped in surprise! He was throwing me about cracking my spine etc. but now I can move my neck around more without all the grating noise I had, my ear isn't crackling as much and my headache is slightly better so fingers crossed.
Anyway when he finally got down to the acupuncture bit he said my kidney energy was off balance and stuck all the needles in to help with that. When the session was over he was off to his next patient before I could discuss this with him.
I had a blood test done last week for my kidneys (as I am on a potassium based drug for HBP) which I don't have the results for yet. I have also been using the detox pads, eating pumpkin seeds, on a semi-strict anti-candida diet and taking vitamins and minerals. I might be overdoing something or missing something out which is distressing my kidneys. Any advice would be most helpful as I will have to wait until Monday to check the result of the blood test, though I would have received a phone call if there was anything untoward (maybe in a perfect world!)
Of course I now have pain in the kidneys!
