Help, my little girl's terrible cough not responding!

I have learned EFT only months ago and now am studying the dvd's . It has worked wonders on many things, including helping a friend conceive , where they had tried for 2 years, drugs and all!
I am just frustrated at the momment because my own little 4 year old daughter is not responding AT ALL to my eft efforts. She has had a bad cough off and on for over a year. We live part of the year in Italy, Europe and it started there. After visiting many drs and getting some tests, they all concluded it was allergy related. They would not do allergy tests because she is too small and they say they are inconclusive before the age of 9. The coughing seemed to have stopped once back in florida, only to be back with a vegence now! In Italy, she coughed during the day mainly..and a hoarse, mostly dry cough. Here in Florida, it is somewhat wet by day and horrible, dry and persistant by night. The last 2 nights no one got any sleep! It breaks our heart not to be able to help her and frustrates me! I have tried tapping on many occasions. I tap her directly and she repeats the set up , etc. I seemed to have tried it all...even tho I have this cough, this allergy, this irration in my throat, this allergy to something making me cough, this mucus in my throat, even though i need attention from mommy so i have this cough, even though i am jealous of my little sister, sad, mad, etc etc etc....what am I missing! Any thoughts? I am going to post this as a new post as well...anyone seasoned out there...if you can help..I greatly appreciate it. I can also pay!!!!!!I have also tried homeopathy and acupuncture ..still tying it..nothing working yet except prespcription cough med's to surpress it at night.
