I have had great trouble getting off soda type drinks like sprite, coke, fanta etc...What i do now is drink fruit rich cordials (40-50% + fruit content) or a squeeze fresh fruits like lime/lemon, drop a little into a bottle of carbonated water, its still carbonated obviously but it allows me to consume far less Sugar and regulate the amount of cordials in the mix, i usually make it fairly weak...At most I have a couple of these a day (500-600 ml in total) and drink around 3 litres of still unflavoured water too...Ive been doing this for over a year now so I am quite pleased with this having come from 2-4 cans of soda drinks per day...
