I just read your comments and feel a little more relieved now in taking Vitamin C which I have been doing so for a few months now I have a kidney disease which involves kidney stones and UTI's.
My problem is my mother who has osteoporosis so I guess should I should be taking calcium but after reading your message I feel more reluctant now. If you have every had a kidney stone you surely don't want another one! I haven't had one for a few years now.
Also, you suggest taking sodium ascorbate? We are told to eliminate sodium in our diet so does this add a tremendous amount or is flushed out?
