Re: Harmless Herpes ???
I think that asymptomatic shedding usually takes place before a ob, although it can happen and you may get no ob at all after the shedding stage. I think that you obviously have a strong immune system, but I wouldn't think that it would be impossible to spread to other people, although you seem to have a good track record. I was with my husband for four years before he caught it from me. And you hear of people that have been in a manogomous marriage for like 20 years and then boom, one of them has an ob. and turns out they had caught it in there younger days. I don't know with your case, you are lucky to have not passed this to anyone, my husband has only had one sore, so I am happy I have not passed him something that caused him great pain, however, you deal with what happens, and if he had a hard time with it , I would have helped him cope the best I could have and did whatever I could to make it better. I am rambling now, but I guess what the bottom line is herpes is different for everyone, good for you though to not have any problems with it. I wish my story was the same. although now 6 years later, I don't see it as a big deal. Just a nusance.
