They all test for the same things. The name only refers to the method the sample is subjected to in order to reveal anti-bodies. ( a positive test in your case) Labs are set up differently to handle different testing methods.It does not affect the results. Especially when you have a positive. The blood test you underwent could of been tested by western blot method. It is a blood test.
