Do you want to do a blood test to see if you have other viruses other than HSV1 in the mouth? I have a friend who got HSV1 outbreak in the mouth for one month but got other viruses in the body without knowing. Other viruses tried to break out from the mucuous membrane of the mouth but could not, so HSV1 in the first virus to get break out. Due to a promise of not revealing what other viruses she has, so I won't mention here.
