Are you sure that your prescription is 3 Grams per day and for 10 days? This is higher than normal valtrex prescription for Herpes or even Herpes Zoster. For Herpes Zoster, it is 3 grams per day and for 7 days only. From your kind answer, those who never try 10 day cure of 2.4 Grams for 10 days will dare to try.

For me, I dare to try for 8 days only of 2.4 grams and on the 9th day and 10th day, I don't know should I try or not. Even if I don't try, I will still take 1 or 2 grams.

I think the 10 days cure in high dosage makes sense as to fool the viruses that they can't come out in 10 days, so they better not come out for a while.
