4 days for the entire cycle appearing and healing is very short. Also, there are usually obvious blisters which appear and then when they heal, there are tiny red marks/scabs.

But people have different levels of severity with outbreaks.
I have had little outbreaks in that same area and around my anus that were more like little cuts, similar to what you have experienced..

That being said, what you described doesn't fit the standard description of a herpes outbreak from my research and experience, especially the first. Some people have mild/non-existent first outbreaks but MANY have very severe first outbreaks with flu symptoms and swollen glands.

Hope this helps. Get checked out and remember, the herpes test and HPV test usually cost extra and are not part of the standard free tests offered by clinics.
