Re: Am I going to give my partner genital herpes????

Herpes 1, common refer as cold sore, can be transmitted to genital via oral sex. So genital herpes can be HSV1 or HSV2. I have never seen one having cold sore, Herpes 1, in nose. And I had heard from numbers of doctors in different disciplines that most nose Herpes are HS2. I think you have HSV2 in nose. Readers, pls correct me if I am wrong. Your description of can't breath sounds like HSV2. HSV2 in nose is difficult to diagnose. The doctors can only get a culture thru' nostril and the nose drainage, however, the Herpes viruses sometimes can go upper on the nasal cavity or the soft cartiledges that the culture is negative in HSV2 while one can know it is HSV2. HSV2 in nose can spread to outer nose, and areas in cheek around the nose.

Also, you can buy any over the counter cold sore cream to apply just the outside of the nostril. You must apply on the first day it outbreak, if it is HSV1, the cold sore will crust on the next day. If it is HSV2, the sore will not dry up for the cold sore cream is too weak to crust HSV2.

There is no way to know if your partner has it before outbreak, however 2 to 14 days if she does not have it, she does not have it. Recently I saw a doctor's article recommending massage instead of sex for couples with Herpes 2. And I recommend gloved hands or sex toy, as before the era of v1agra, sex toy were used for couples. ( Make sure the glove does not break, wash your hands afterwards, keep the hand in activity for not more than 10 minutes to avoid infection. ) The last but not the least is don't think both persons have Herpes 2 than it is harder to get infected, my holistic doctor said, he only see ping pong infection---re-infecting each other. And the viruses load is higher, and affect to more body parts if not careful. Just be safe, you don't want the scary moment of worrying if you affected someone. For me I am especially worry if I infected someone with an elderly parent to take care of.

Also, I suspect a product good for Herpes 2 in nose---it might not cure but seemed to drain the nose. Everytime when I drink 4 oz to 20 oz ( the recommend dosage is only 4 oz ), the nose drained 15 minutes later. What exactly is drained out, I don't know. Be it bacteria inside or virus, I love the drainage. It is OPC-3, and my friend gave to me as she worked in Market America. She said she saw people healed from sinus problem after 2 to 8 bottle. Pls research OPC-3. OPC-3 is made of grape seed extract, red wine extract, pine bark, bilberry extract. People with sinus problem were healed by it. However, those sinus problem are either allergy or bacteria infection. It is very high in vitamin A and 50 times higher in vitamin C. I took it as anti-oxidant. And it does detox the body. Also, a lot of people with multiple sclerosis took it, and the product claims it can cross the blood-brain barrier. However, it stayed in the body for 72 hours and will be gone in urea or perspirations. I only take it on the weekend for weekdays I am in I.V. and rectal insufflation. It cost $48 or $49 for 10.6 oz, and it might last one to one and a half month, as it is powder and you have to mix in water with plastic stirrers only, no metal. It must be drink right away or it will be oxidized. Also, if you have some existing skin problem, this OPC3 is said to make it better. Recently, my eczema showed on my right hand fingers which never itched before. Throughout my life, my eczema only showed on my left hand fingers, and I hate the itch on my right hand unexpectedly. I love the drainage in my nose though. I don't know if the product is acidic or alkaline. I am just trying. Don't try if you are tight in money or time for OPC3 never claim it heals HSV2. I only like the drainage in the nose and the anti-oxidants.
