Plugged ears from sinus allergies..any OTC cures??

I have been dealing with seasonal allergies for the past week-week and a half; it's the usual: scratchy throat, runny nose, sneezing, and plugged up ears. My ears have been going in and out with the plugging and I can't seem to get over it! I will be talking to someone and then all of sudden my ear makes that sound as if it's trying to clear; or it sounds like I am listening to someone through crackling celophane! Please, does anyone know of a cure? Should I use some OTC wax remover? Or is there a great homeopathic approach that I don't know about? I really do not want to go to my doctor who will just prescribe anti-biotics! Any advice is greatly appreciated! Tweet
