A great post there Lynn, I was riveted.I hope we can exchange a few more posts{or would you e-mail me direct so we can compare notes? ]
I do not "meet" many people who even know about Trigeminal Neuralgia, much less had it.
I went thru it until June 2003, when it suddenly ended. That pain in the face, and those awful headaches all day were gone. I had had the face pains [Tg.N.] for about 2 or 3 months - its all so foogy now.
I had raging tooth pains all along for 3 years, begging dentists to pull them, The delays lasted 3 years, and I am still being delayed in getting one last molar out!! I really do think dentists are will to hurt me this much....
I had those headaches for 15 years! Gone gone gone, now it is 9 months and I still do not get those headaches, just mild little ones now and then.
Leg pains, cramps, and fatigue were also big deals, but they didn't go away as much as the other pains.
I am walking much further now though, after June, and I think it will keep improving, which is terrific after 15 years of contiunually getting worse. They have called it Fibromyalgia, but I think that is a bogus diagnosis for anyone, full of lies.
What happened in June this year?
- I got my upper teeth pulled. You don't like to hear that I bet, nobody does. I also pulled all but one molar on the bottom, and I saved the front ones on the bottom too. All the mercury is now gone, all that remains to do is get one root canal tooth pulled [ root canals may have been part of the problem, for me].
That isn't your situation I guess, but I like to tell this tale because nobody believes me now, never did. That makes it all so much harder to bear.
