Consultation with Dentist

So finally I had a consultation with my biological dentist that follows all of Huggins protocol. His estimates were pretty pricy. I have a total of 11 Amalgam fillings, 2 of them with root canals.

He gave me 2 treatment plans. The first plan cost $8000 which includes 3 porcelain crowns. The crowns cost $1400 each! Is it usually that expensive? The composite replacement is $290. The second plan is $16,000 including the extraction and cleaning of the 2 root canal teeth, then eventually putting bridges for those two root canals.

So expensive. I can barely afford the first option, not the second. So I think i'll keep the root canal first, and see if by removing the Amalgam will help me.

The big dilema for me right now is that I leave for Asia (stay least 3 months) in 3 weeks. I have an appointment a week from today, to replace the fillings on the right side of my mouth. He's planning to do 2 quadrants (top & bottom), and 2 fillings on each, so a total of 4. When I come back from Asia, I'll do the rest of them. My main concern is whether I should do the whole right side, or should i just do 2 filling (1 quadrant) at once. Or not do anything until I come back. I mean I don't really want to be suffering more than I am right now, especially in another country. And to have to take all those supplements or find them there is a pain in the ass. What do you think?

Thanks.
