Re: Thanks Wrenn!
are you keeping your aloe vera gel in fridge?
it should be refridgerated . has a shelf life of 12-14 months
since i know nothing about the copper you say i cannot answer that.
yes all those mudpacks for all night probably severely tugged your pores. that is probably what you are seeing.
a few facial pore opening face steams might help with that.
boil water. set pan on potholder
hold towel over head and face and let it gently steam (don't get too close 8)
i would go get that glycerin. it is cheap , kmart has it for sure.. and i wouldn't dream of NOT using it in your circumstances
to help restore elasticity to your face. and with the water it helps seal the water in also.
rosemary tea is excellent about a tsp to a 4 ounce bit of water.
boil water, pour over herb, let steep 15 minutes, and use it in place of water with the glycerin would work great.
do you have oatmeal in house? cook up just a bare bit/
and gently rub it on and into face..let sit about 10 minutes
then rinse off with tepid water.
this will get your face butter soft fast and also help restore nutrients back.
oatmeal is excellent facial cleanser and so gentle
this should get you thru for now.
and take care of the rough spots too.
i don't know how old your oils are so i hestitate to say go for it..
when you go to get the glycerin, ask if they have a small bottle of almond or jojoba oil. jojoba is very helpful in restoring back your natural *sebum * face status..just apply a THIN layer.
i can offer you more advice, but some of that mightinvolve ordering stuff from herbal stores and i know you need take care of this NOW.
these are things you can get from local stores fast. or probably already have.
if you have no fresh aloe and your aloe gel has not been kept refridgerated, then see if you can buy red grapes
(just a few is ok.. )
cut one in half and rub on face.
not green ones they are astrignent..
use the red/purple ones.. very refreshing, cleansing and moisturising.
