Product reassurance, please

Vagisil, extra strength, anti-itch cream.

According to the label the active ingredients are Benzocaine 20%, and Resorcinol 3% W/W (whatever that means).

They say all kinds of 'vitamins', etc., are added. But they also give dire warnings.

This external condition is so severe that I have my doubts about using anything 'medicinal', even if it is only freezing, as the dentist uses.

That's a heck of an area to try something new!
