Re: 9 month old w/ digestive issues (long)
dear nspeth,
have you ever thought of taking your baby to some cranio-sacral therapist?
I suggest you warmly to consider it.
In the skull, neck, hips and along the spine there might be micro-tensions, provoked by the birth, they are areas with fine innervations, that command a bit of everything. Only in the neck there are 14 different little muscles, if one of them is contracted, the consequences can be the most various. I know very approximatively the theory of cranio-sacral therapy, but I do know that my son, who was kind of restless, at age 3 months just changed completely after one only visit by the cranio-sacral therapist. He had one of those 14 muscles messed up, it took 10 seconds to put it back in place, and after that Lake was another baby, he could relax as never before. If he didn't have this adjusted he could have ended up with some attention disorder. Cranio-sacral therapy is very efficient in curing also colics, so why not?
I really wish you find your way out of this mess
