Simply RAW

I don't really have a favorite raw uncook book. I tend not to make the exotic raw dishes because, in my opinion, most are very unbalanced and unhealthy. Many raw chefs try and mimic heavy SAD meals so they require way too much fat and bad combinations that are hard to digest. I tend to eat realtively simple, and mostly fruit/berries with some greens and veggies and a few nuts, etc. Sometimes avocados. I do ocasionally make faux pasta with my spiralizer and a pesto sauce for a treat. I also make some salads or RAW soups but do not overdue the oil for dressing. Often my dressing will utilize an avocado base and flavoured with various herb combos. Basically I just put things together as I intuit at the time.

I find the RAW movement going through a trendy, "appeal to the masses" phase but I also strongly believe that the simpler RAW living food diets are much healthier and take much less time to prepare.
