labial excema

I think it is excema - symptoms are a very intense itch, especially at night, waking me from sleep, on the labia. Seems a very uncommon location - and embarrassing. Don't know what caused it - I wear cotton underware, use a green detergent, don't use soaps etc. Any particular rememdies for that area? It has gone on for years and I've had enough! Help please!
