Re: Bodybuilding Supplementation
Dear 53266,
The life-expectancy of a professional bodybuilder is about 61 years. Whereas,
the average American man has a life expectancy
of around 76 years. Professional football
players also die 10 to 15 years before the
rest of us. Why? Because of the enormous
amount of extra protein they consume, as well
as all the deadly steroids.
Case in point: Governor Arnold was the most
famous bodybuilder of all time. He suffered
a triple-bypass coronary a few years ago.
I don't know who the Lieutenant Governor of
California is, but I think there's a very
good chance we'll all find out in the not-too-distant future, when he suddenly finds himself
Governor.
You did well to give up all the bodybuilding
chemicals, 53266. Steroids are killers. And
too much animal protein is probably the #1
cause of major illness in the western world.
I suggest you stick to your whey protein
supplement; no more than a tablespoon
each day. In a recent newsletter, Doctor
David Williams, one of the very best alternative health physicicans in the world,
sang the praises of moderate amounts of whey
protein.
What you'll have to decide, 53266, is whether
you like those overly big, overly developed
muscles so much, that you're willing to
risk shortening your life be a decade or more.
What is the price of vanity?
Do think about it, and let your deep intuition guide you.
Blessings,
Owen
