about to get lazer treatment and replace fillings need advice

I am wondering what is the best choice to make in replacing fillings and crowing my teeth. I have 9 molars to have done they are large and need caps. I don't know all the implications and best choices or why. I have had the clifford test. Some say high end gold is best to use others say diamond crown. I would appreciate any experience and input in order to make the best choices. I want the mercury out but don't want to trade one poison for another even if it is a lesser poison if I can avoid it. The other thing is sensitivity, what is best? Is there any book that has all the pros and cons of replacement options in order to make that choice? I am sure I will have more questions but right now I have to decide what I would like to replace the mercury with. Any help will be a great value to me. Thank You.
