I don't know about some of your symptoms, but I had hypothyroidism for about a year: my face would just peel off in white layers, my hair was wiry and unmanageable, I was always tired, etc etc... Whitetiger's post has excellent advice.

I returned to normal after liver cleanse, stopping all nutrasweet type sugars and diet foods, and took Modifilan ( brown sea weed ) I copied a little info from their site for you, and posted the link for you to take a look at.

I hope you can in fact get better, and regain your energy. One thing that has made tremendous difference for me: sublingual multi-B vitamins w/B12 and I just started drinking Ozonated water after trying to decide on one thing to add to my path to healthier living. (so far so good.)
