that could be a problem
you don't know where your organic food has been or what kind of fertilizer has been used on it.
i buy a product called azomite, which is a special rock in utah that has the full spectrum of minerals in it, ground up to a powder. it is not sold for internal use, but i take it. i am going to write about it in my blog soon.
ideally, the best thing would be to have an organic garden that is fertilized with composted seaweed and fish but no manure. the roots of the plants in this garden would have all the pro and pre biotics you need. it was well knwon among the old herbalists and doctors that dandelion roots, unwashed, ground up can cure cancer.
butterfly is right though, a study i read showed that vegetarians who ate unwashed produce suffered no B12 deficiency, while those that washed their produce needed a B12 supplement. personally i don't worry about trace amounts of fecal matter, but i certainly understand if you do.
a smple solution would be to thoroughly wash your produce but then eat some kind of fermented food.
