this could easily be due to a lack of good bacteria in the gut. it goes right along with what i know and have been taught. also, the lubrication is another function i was unaware of . bottom line, if we didnt need it, god wouldnt have put it there. only fanatical evolutionists believe in this "vestigial"(left over from evolving) crap.
