Thank you for your reply...! I read through what you found about the appendix, and I appreciate the help! What I'd been looking for, and been unable to find, is a function of/purpose for the appendix. Now that I don't have one I'm suddenly very interested in it.. :) But some of that information you gave me was a little scary...67% of people who develop colon cancer before 50 do not have an appendix! Yikes! I'll have to verify that somehow before I get really angry. It's great to be able to talk to other people about this and get a different perspective. I've suffered through spells of extreme pain/vommiting every once in a while for a long time. I know it's not the flu, it's too painful, and then it'll go away after a day or two.. leaving me exausted, but not sick like the flu. I went ahead and posted in the other forum, so we'll see what I find. I've been directed towards the Liver Flushing... and even though it sounds weird, and I don't want to bring on one of those awful episodes of pain, I'm going to try it. It's inexpensive and seems better than just doing nothing. Have you ever done a flush?
