Re: Hearing loss of a 10 Month old child

I am praying for your child. I am a Chiropractor. It is well documented that Chiropractic care has been effective for such hearing loss. In fact, the very first Chiropractic patient in 1895 had hearing loss and his hearing was restored following several adjustments. Chiropractic for children is extremely safe and effective. How can chiropractic help? **Our nerve system control everything in our bodies**. The nerves that supply the ear come from the upper neck. It is possible that during the 3rd trimester, or during the birth process, your child may have suffered an inury to this area. The result is a misaligment of the upper cervical vertebrae causing pressure on the nerves that control the ear. This misaligment is called subluxation. A Chiropractor who is trained to work with children gently uses as much force as you would use to press on your eye, makes an adjustment to this area to allow the vertebrae to find its proper position. This may take several adjustments, because if there has been ligament damage, time will allow these structures to heal and return to a normal length. When the nervous system is free of interference, your child's body will begin to function at a greater level. It is hoped that the hearing will be restored once the body can "regain control" of the situation. Questions I would be eager to ask are 1. What was your pregnancy like? 2. What was the birth like? Hard labour? Lengthy labour? Were interventions used? (ie forceps, C-section, epidurals? NAy difficulty breast feeding? (difficulty feeding on one side is a HUGE indication that something is subluxated in the upper neck). Any vaccinations? Was you child ill when they received the shots?
