I have a baby who is 10 month old. Doctor says she is more than 90% deaf. She produce a lot of sound. But if she is not hearing she will loose her speech. I want her to go for a cochlear implant. Just wanted to know if it is safe for such a young child to go thru the surgery?! Any other advanced way of tackleing this hearing loss for my baby. Suggestion and advice are more than welcome.
