Diet...by what I've been reading terrible. He is an extremely picky eater. All he wants is starch and refined carbs and sugar. And it seems I'm the only one in the family who seems to care that he shouldn't be eating it. When I'm in charge of getting him to eat, he eats lots of beans...kidney, black, pinto. Also he loves potatoes, green beans and tomatoes are about the only veggies I can get him to eat. He loves fruit, which I give him a lot of. He won't eat meat unless it's processed and then not much. He loves yogurt, cottage cheese, cereal, we only use whole wheat bread which he will eat half a loaf of plain bread, and junk food whenever he can get it. Keeping him away from candy, cookies and junk is a constant battle...not because it's in our house but because of his grandparents and teachers and bus drivers. We tried to do the casien/gluten free diet when he was two, but my and my husband's moms had felt that it was child abuse not to give him whole cows milk. I'm serious, they literally would sneak milk into his cup while we were not looking. They even had an intervention and threatened to call Children's Services. This is what I'm up against.
