Skin Brushing...

Ok, so I just went to a whole foods market, and i purchased a 8 dollar Yerba Prima skin brush. I hope its good enough.. It is made from Tampico fiber. Im tryin to decongest my lymph, because of Acne underneath my face, about where you can feel the your pulse. Do I have to skin brush this part of my body on my neck and what-not? The bristles seem kinda rough to me...Is it suppose to be like this? Do i brush my whole body expect my face? Does my face include my neck and where you can feel your pulse? By the way, How does skin brushing help to cleanse the lymph system? thank you!
