In the case of preeclampsia the baby is always better out than in, so to speak. Yes, you are correct in that labor will probably need to be induced. I agree with most of what the other posters stated, but have to add that if her blood pressure is more than 30 points higher on the systolic (top number) she is at risk for developing more problems, even if she is not over that magic number of 140/90.
4 weeks early is not going to be a problem in most cases with the baby, occasionally the lungs are a little immature at that age. Is there a NICU at the same hospital??? The baby may need to have special monitoring and treatment.

They should do a 24 hour urine on her to get a total level of protein. There are liver function testing they may also do.
