Re: EMERGENCY QUESTION.... re preclampesia (sp?)

johng...I'm pretty well up on most medical and alternative
matters, however, I don't know that much about preeclampsia.
It "is" toxemia of pregnancy! I can only tell you that if it
were our daughter with this problem, we would be going along
with the doctor if he felt he needed to induce labor. It can
be a very serious matter, but if you have a good doctor, I'm
sure everything will be fine. The baby will be about 4 weeks
early but they will keep both your wife and the baby under
close supervision. It's better to induce labor...just 4 weeks
early...than to let the preeclampsia cause much more serious
problems and it very easily could. I don't want to worry you
MORE...just want you to realize you really should go with the
doctors advice.
My heart goes out to you...I know you can't help but feel
worried...or maybe even feel panic as your subject line suggested. It isn't that common a disorder and it definitely
isn't one you would want to mess around with using some kind
of "alternative therapy." Just turn it all over to the Lord,
put her in the hands of her doctor on this one and I truly
believe everything will be fine.
I'll say a prayer for all "three" of you tonight and in the

ps...you can probably type in preeclampsia and do a search...
or type in toxemia of pregnancy...and do a search. Be sure
to spell it right...you left out an "e" in your post...it's
a weird word...two "e's" in a row :-) Just ask the Lord to
pour a bucket of peace down over you...he will...then you'll
be stronger for your wife...You're about to have a brand new
baby...you're very blessed...everything will be fine!
