Re: Some foods that help you detox.

Hi Owen,
Thank you for the suggestions. I've known about chlorella and cilantro for a while but they make me feel quite wired when I eat them so I avoid. I do eat apples for the pectin and also grow my own mung bean sprouts too. I drink filtered water, I can't afford to buy any other water system.
There is a lot of conflicting information about mercury chelation and some people (eg on the yahoo frequent-dose-chelation group) say to avoid chlorella, green foods etc as they could be contaminated but also they may just deposit the mercury around the body and make the situation worse. The protocol they follow is based on Andy Cutler's very extensive work on chelation. He suggests to use alpha lipoic acid and argues that, alongside other substances eg DMSA it is the only thing that will cross the blood brain barrier to chelate mercury and remove it from the body.
To be honest I don't know what advice to do and I'm very scared and depressed.
Thanks anyway,
Warm regards
Anne
