Magnesium in a nebulizer

In reading the links on magnesium, there have been studies using inhaled Mg to treat asthma. I was then thinking that powdered Mg in a nebulizer would work similarly. Any thoughts on this application?

I started with a cold back in the fall and it went to the lungs. That's when my asthma kicked in. I have been having a really hard time with it. I have been nebulizing Colloidal Silver and MSM but I probably haven't been doing it enough to make a difference (CS is very expensive and I'm waiting to get the generator I ordered). Unfortunately, I have been using the albuterol inhaler much more than I like although I have been supplementing with Mg and potassium.
