Re: Jesus says not to judge?

Different people work in different ways and are able to find themselves in different ways. The only way I got over my 'burdens' was to look inside myself, to the god within so to speak. I think that others are able to overcome their hardships by connecting with the god outside of themselves, but both are ways that we connect with a divine spirit to help us realize that there is so much more than our physical bodies and life on earth. I see god in all things, particularly in plants, and by being close to myself and nature I feel close to god. We are each very unique and we all have our own unique ways of connecting with god. I don't believe that there is just one way for anything. I don't believe that god is judgemental, I think he just wants us to love ourselves as much as he does. I think simply asking ourselves for forgiveness is also asking god's forgiveness, because I believe we are a part of god, we are his creation and what you create is a part of you. If we are able to accept ourselves for who we are, such as being a homosexual, then I'm inclined to believe god will too. What do you think?
