Re: Desparate!! - Entire family with environmental and food allergies!

Leigh,

Wow......After reading your post, here is my first impression of what is causing your problems. YOU HAVE TOO MUCH STRESS IN YOUR LIFE, PERIOD! Let me tell you, if I had all that going on in my life, I'll quarentee you that I (and the kids)would be sick too!

Your post tells me that you worry about everything.....you are trying to be carefull of what you eat and expose yourself too. The problem is you trying to do too much!

Look at your list:

Amalgums removed
Breast implants (this shows you have a self-conciousness issue)
New house
4 Kids
Home schooling
Moving around
Going to clinics
A husband
Kids sick often

How the heck are you still alive! This would drag down most anyone I know! I think your major probm is this: You have too much stress in your life and it has damaged your immune system. Your probably have a leaky gut which causes food intolerances , and the coughs etc are also the result of your impaired immune system. The new house with all the processed woods plastics etc ia now doubt probably adding to the problem, not to mention the stress of building it! The sickly 2 year old is probably more normal because they took him early. That can be expected. Thes others are probably sick because they share your stress if you know it or not.

If I were 20, and my mother was moving us around, home schooling, and dissappearing to clinics for week at a time, I'd be stressed and sick myself.

It is my first and formost oppinion that you are caught in a rat race with society. Your trying to do all the GOOD stuff in the alternative area but you must realize that this causes stress! You said so yourself...you're afraid to get crowns! This is a clear sign that you are going to far. SLOW DOWN!!!!

In the past 2 years I have turned toward alternative health and during that time I have realized that in my efforts to try to do all these thing that are good for me, I had become more sickly. I no doubt was getting stressed about where I would eat next because I did not want to eat anything that was not organic! It was crazy! I was going mad and it sounds like you are too!

I have since slowed down and I take on one issue at a time. Once it becomes habbit, I add another. I'm not longer sick and no LONGER STRESSED about it!!!

One other point, although possible I seriously doubt that all 4 of your kids have a gluten intolerance. I believe there are symdroms that evolve in house holds that are a kin to two women working together that end up on the same menstrual cycle. I'm a firm believer that if you truely believe something about yourself or someone else, you subject them to negative energy that can effect them if they let it. In your kids case, based on this post, they are probably weary and stressd themselves with makes this negative energy hard for them to shake, so they get sick too.

Ok, I could go on for days about this. Here are my sugestions for you.

1. Lower your stress level!!!! Stop worring about everything. If you focus on you pain and misery, all you will see is pain and misery! Get the book "Of monkeys and dragons" by Michelle Longo Odonold and read it several times! This will put you in tune with your spirit and show you how your negitive energy can cause you and your family problems.

2. Get those kids in a public or private school for now, you can always take them out later. Kids like to have security and if they have a stable school environment it may benefit them. This will give you time to FIX YORUSELF. If you are sick and miserable, the kids are going to be too! Stop moving them around! They need a stable home environment too!

3. Removing yourself from environmental pollutants is a good idea. However, the stress of moving around on you and the kids is not so good. Stress kills and destroys your health.

4. Did the dentist that removed your almagums know the protocol for doing it correctly? If not, he may have subjected your to a mega dose of mercury. This could have a large effect on your pain and symptoms. You could try a mercury detox. There are only a handfull of dentist that know the correct way to remove almagus without exposing you to more mercury.

5. Get allergy tested. You are from westerm PA? Have you seen Dr. Winer on the south side? He can treat your body for allegies with non evasive methods. (not shots drop or needles) There are other in the area also.

6. I'll bet your relationship with your husband is teetering too with all that is goin on....great....more stress for you!! Get the family back to gether.

PLease stop and take a look at yourslf and your situations. You have entirely to much on your plate and you will never fix it if you do not slow down. Remove as much stress from your lif as possible...and I don't care it that means you have to eat a Mcdonalds for a month!!!!

Now, do this. Look into the past and determine exactly when all these things started happening with the allergies, pain, sick kids etc. This will help your determine the cause of it all. You may find that the kids, the house, and all your attempts to do what is "GOOD" for you and your family is having a negitive impact on your life and health....primarily because of stress.

> This is a really long post, but I'm desparate, and hopeful that someone can help me and my four children.
>
> My background:
> - I'm 37 years old and have four children (ages 2, 5, 9, 11).
> - I've had pain all my life in my joints, always a little fibromyalgic, and was always tired (which I now suspect was a gluten intolerance??).
> - Had my first two children and felt okay.
> - My father died in 1993, very stressful time.
> - Got breast implants (1994). For six months after, I could not even lift arms to my sides because of pain.
> - I never was same after the implants.
> - Had two more children, and we moved into a new house that we built.
> - After the third child, my joint pain was really bad.
> - I had a tickle-type cough.
> - Toward end of my third pregnancy we were in new house that we built, and I had a tickle-type cough that went away just before I had the baby.
> - Nine months after the birth of my third child, I was in terrible pain again.
> - Later, I got pregnant again. They had to take the baby early because I wasn't growing and the water and my placenta was drying up. The baby was okay.
> - Nine months after the birth of this fourth child, *again* I was sick. Had spider-type veins on my skin (looked like swollen blood vessels), and some brown patches on skin.
> - I went to the dentist, and he removed two large Amalgam fillings and put in temporary fillings. I never went back for the crowns, because I was afraid. I still have a lot of Amalgam fillings. Two weeks after the dentist appointment, I went to bed with a fever and the same tickle-type cough that I had when I was pregnant, then woke up the next morning and my back was out. I've always had lower back problems, but my back was so bad this time that I couldn't walk. This marked the beginning of my current nightmare.
> - Had my breast implants removed about five months after all these problems began.
> - Every time I ate the cough would get worse, and my back would go out.
> - I'm away of Celiac Sprue disease, as well as Hulda Clark , and I have been to the Gursen Clinic.
> - I can't go to the bathroom regularly, and do a lot of coffee enemas.
> - It seems that I'm allergic to everything, and sometimes, I'm afraid to eat at all.
> - I can't really take supplements, because if there is just a tiny bit of gluten in them, I'll get sick (cough, constipated)
> - I'm petite and weigh about 115 pounds.
>
> Environment:
> - Our house has cellulose insulation, and some siding had blown off at one point and the insulation got wet.
> - We suspected mold because we all had coughing (and we can smell it).
> - We've had consultants come into our house and test for molds. The mold, penicillium and other mold counts were high, but there's no black mold.
> - I believe our house is part of what has made me sick, as well as my four children and husband.
>
> The rest of my family:
> - My four children (ages 11, 9, 5 and 2), and myself cannot eat gluten. My husband has some trouble if he eats too much wheat or if he eats sugar.
> - My husband has a rash on his rear that gets better when he is not in the house.
> - Early on, I thought my 2 year old had a yeast infection, because my breasts and inside of my ears were itchy (which started after I had the Amalgam removed). He cannot eat gluten, and I see undigested food in his stool all the time.
> - My 2 year old also has little red bumps all over his arms. When he was 7 months old, he had spiking fevers and his back seemed to bother him.
> - My 11 year old has trouble with gluten, but can handle it better than the other children.
> - None of us can tolerate gluten in any way shape or form! This seemed to happen suddenly first to my youngest child, then up through to the oldest. This intolerance started after we moved into the house!!
> - I went to a hotel for a week, and my cough went away.
>
> Our diet:
> - None of us can tolerate gluten. Currently, I can't even eat millet or quinuoa. My older son can eat a little gluten.
> - We all juice every single day.
> - My youngest son can't tolerate rice milk, and I'm at whit's end as to what to feed him and the other children.
>
> Six weeks ago I moved myself and my children to a family member's guest house in the countryside of Arkansas (from Western Pennsylvania). I am completely desparate. I am 10 hours away from my home and husband. I home school my children. I'm doing a little better since we moved, but my 2 year old is still really sick.
>
> I'm trying to look at this from a mind, body and spirit perspective, but nothing explains why every one of us is sick??
>
> My questions are:
> - What can I do to get better?
> - How can all four of my children be sick??? And, if it is hereditary, why is my husband also sick?
> - I used to think that if we moved out of our house, we'd get better, but now I'm not so sure.
> - Can I ever eat gluten again (even non-wheat, like millet, etc)?
> - I've considered doing a liver cleanse for myself, but even if this helps me, what can I do for my children? They're too young for a liver cleanse.
>
> I'm afraid that I'm going to be really sick for the rest of my life. Please, if anyone has suggestions, or input, I'm very interested.
>
> Thank you!!!
