Re: Here's the thing about homosexuals

Well we'll have to agree and disagree about certain things.

I think there is, actually a certain percentage of homosexuals who may have evolved into this destructive lifestyle by some unfortunate happenings of their past. However I think the large majority have been that way since early childhood and feel trapped within their own body. They simply can't escape it. And I believe I gave a very valid explanation for this in my post.

Now I am totally in agreement that one's spiritual life can directly influences choices you make in life. (My life for example has changed in soooo many ways.) But I've also learned what you put in your body can poison your temple. It happens physically in the form of disease, it happens mentally in the form of Depression and anxiety, and I believe it can even influence the genetics of future offspring because one's toxicity goes right down to the cells of their body. This is not absolute fact, however toxicity, sugary foods and high carbohydrate lifestyles have been on the rise in recent generations, as well as homosexuality. This is glossed over here and may sound like a stretch, but I believe I'm on to something.

As far as me claiming to be a hero, I think you might be reading too much into it. If you've ever listened to Rush Limbaugh he often boasts that he's working with "Talent on loan from God." Personally I believe (much like Rush) that I am super. This doesn't mean that I compare myself to God by any stretch of the imagination. But I've always felt special. Looking back I can see that everything in life has fallen into place perfectly for me. I'm lucky in every aspect. In kind, I've always loved everyone for who they are because not everyone is as fortunate as me. I treat people as I would like to be treated. I don't cast stones because I've lots of them lodged in my own eyes. This way of life has taken me far, and I belive it's one that God himself would approve.

I've lived a life full of disobedience until recently. Maybe it has something to do with me being a new Christian but I just simply can't do a 180 and start criticizing people for their sins. I can envision myself in their shoes. I would rather work WITH someone than against them.... Being a business person with many employees I've leaned that this is much more productive. I can't tell you how much of a change you can make in a person when you simply start working WITH him.

And as far as the prior post about me impersonating a gay person, although I was simply in a goofy mood that day, I do actually regret it now. It was in bad judgement. S
