Re: Now for the BONUS follow-up question

Your logic lines are flawed:
"At what exact age and moment did you choose to be gay or straight?"
That's like asking what exact moment did you become an alcoholic, or a child abuser... was it the first time you ignored them when they fell down... perhaps the first time you spanked them?...

"Who presented you with the options? At what age?"
Same argument as above applies, also, TV, whenever you watched it. You see examples of homosexuoality everywhere you look.

In response to the next few: You don't have to be informed to chose to be gay. Just as you don't have to be informed to make most poor choices. ex: who taught you to take what's not yours, or to be hateful to someone?

"Why can't I choose to be gay for a weekend, and immediately be attracted to other guys? Isn't it a choice?"
Again a bad example... You could use this line of argumentation to say "why can't a pedophille choose to be not one anymore over the weekend?"

"Can a gay person choose to be straight?"
Who says they can't. You can find lots of examples of people that use to be gay that are now in very fulfilling straight relationships. However, it takes a lot of time and mental conditioning, just like it did for them to become gay in the first place.

"Where was religion when gays needed guidance in the first place to make the right decision???"
This question is far too broad, you could even use the term religion to define the homosexual community. There are plenty of "religious" "churches" that support homosexuality. Religion simply comes from Latin religare to bind back, implying obligation.

Homosexuality is the same as many forms of depresion, anger, or social abnormalites. They are caused by poor nutrition, poor parenting, unhealthy relationships, teasing, isolation ect.
