and one more thing

don't know how many are folowing this thread but there is one more thing to add for clarity purposes. this is what is was looking for - that overtly hateful racist remarks be policed in exactly the same way that viscous personal attacks are policed ie- they are not allowed and they are erased by moderators and those making them are warned not to do so. that is fair, it is logical, it creates an atmospere that is conducive to intelligent debate, and it is the right thing to do. that is what i wanted to see happen. the splitting of the sites was out of left field and why it happened i really couldn't tell you. nevertheless, i spoke up because something was deeply disturbing and will do so in the future if it happens again.
