The treatment was effective......you had cavities in your teeth because of the way you treated your body...the dentist then filled the cavities with a restorative material that is accepted by all medical bodies as being safe.
The dentist was trying to save your teeth......because you didn't take care of them.

Then, your cavities were gone...no more decay...that is the point.
Now that you have had all of the Amalgams replaced with composites, they will need to be replaced every 5-7years (they don't last nearly as long as amalgams) and that will cost you money. There is also a considerable amount of research being done on the dangers of white fillings. They are full of chemicals......we don't yet know if there are any harmful long-term side effects from their use....guess the people of the world are the guinea pigs! Tweet
