I think that must be true, beyond all our machinations.

My usual way of thinking about it is, "It's all one," even if I can't see that far. I only get glimpses of tiny possibilities, from time to time.

It's an impish streak that tries to simplify the difficult and complex. Every insight I've ever had, came down to an Aha! moment. "So THAT'S what is going on!"

Always, everyone's 'method' is different than the next fellow's.

(By the way, I was at the computer in the wee small hours this a.m. [4:30 PST] and I saw the Webmaster create this new space for 'debate', just before I asked if we could use intuition, etc., for more certainty about UT. I understood Webmaster's point, as we all do, about the difference between analysis, and support for those who are actually trying it.)

I'd also like to say something here that comes from many years of posting on help bulletin boards. One never knows the full background of the person one is posting to, or reading.

Paraphrasing a couple of ridiculous conversations that apparently happened (but not online):

A fellow told another all about the virtues of sailboating, only to learn later that his patient listener was master of a tall ship used for training selected Navy cadets.

A newcomer to town held forth at a party about how the local druggist's wife had left him; upped and taken their children to Europe. Then he asked his companion's occupation. "I'm the local druggist," was the reply. (His wife had taken the children to see an elderly family member who was ill.)

I've been known to over-explain to some who aren't really interested (horrors!); and to be quiet when my own experiences and observations might have helped. (Which is my greatest horror.)

Sometimes we can get out just the right words, at exactly the right time. Sometimes we can't.

Today has been a fine day for understanding. My jaw is on my chest. I am in awe of your thinking, everyone. It is torture to keep ideas inside for too long.

And it is joy to know that others consider parallel thoughts.

Gonna print them out, my friends, keep them in a separate binder and re-read them.

(Can anyone tell me how many e-mails a person might get if they allowed them in a post? 4,000 to 6,000 visitors to these boards is a mighty intimidating number. My computer could blow a gasket! Then, too, I'd feel lonely if no one sent me any e-mails. Sigh.) Tweet
