Never thought I'd agee with AnonJane. but you are right.

Breatharians that eat are like Vegans that regularly enjoy a good Beef Wellington.

Humans/Animals derive energy from food (fat/carbs/proteins)

Plants can photosynthesize and derive energy from sunglight

Some bacteria (CHEMOAUTOTROPHS) can derive obtain energy from non organic substances.

Breatharians are not Chemoautotrophs OR Phototrophs, so they can't live on air and water.

I guess you can be a true Breatharian but only a short while after which you die or you eat and stop being a breatharian.

I tend to be a vegan for breakfast and lunch - but that does not make me a vegan

EDIT:

I guess I might be a breatharian too, at least in between meals.
