Re: Is there even ONE...
The definition of Breatharianism is rather vague and sometimes contradictory. I have read three self-proclaimed Breatharians state that the Breatharian has the
option of food or water, but their life itself does not depend on one or the other. This can either be construed as being perfectly logical (and therefore acceptable), or as the perfect "get-out-clause" to all but render their beliefs nonsensical (something similar to a vegetarian who may eat meat occasionally, but does not sustain life itself solely on meat!)
In regards to the significance or "use" of Breatharianism, I expect that it is the individual's quest to become what they view as the perfect being. I have worried in the past that extreme Christians may seek to become as the original couple, attempting to live purely on the Breath of God, thus guaranteeing their place in the heavens. Assuming that this may be the case for at least one aspiring Breatharian, then I begin to wonder if their true motivation is fear (of death).
I leave my mind and heart open to the possibility of Breatharianism, however vague; perhaps because I do not wish to be disappointed by such a lack-lustre existence of meagre spirituality, or perhaps because I desire progression (and if nothing is to be achieved after liquidarianism, stagnation awaits, physical at least).
One must always remain open to possibilities...for instance, I just read that you are female, which, coming after months of assuming you were male made me laugh at my own inaccurate judgements!
