Questions about breast cancer and essiac

When my friend was diagnosed with Breast Cancer I started looking into treatments, all treatments. She has agreed to try diet therapy, and her doctor, pending diet approval, has given us 30 days to show some improvement in blood tests before pushing forward with the chemo. We have chosen essiac, and are also considering flax oil and cottage cheese, combined with an overall diet change. I would like to hear from people about what has worked for them, specifically regarding diet and supplementation with these therapies, and whether anyone has combined the two.
