"My understanding is that you told my office that you did not want any surgery and/or chemotherapy and did not want to do anything. Although I do not feel your cervical malignancy is curable and indeed is life-threatening, I nevertheless do feel that surgery and/or chemotherapy has a chance to prolong your life. Failure to do so will therefore increase the life-threatening risk to you."

Is this necessary. If I already called his office to let him know that I would nolonger need his services why would he write me this letter. To scare me.
Just when I'm feeling better emotionally he has to write me a letter to freak me out.
