Subject: RE: [gallstones] Re: cold liquids & Tip for the Day

I suspect I have one (or many) of these critters, as my attacks are a daily
event... I have just gone and had another stickybeak at my ultrasounds and
yes, it looks like I have gravel, no stones... but they hurt just as much I
reckon! Second flush didn't produce much (didn't see anything) and pain has
been around all week. Actually, this week for the first time, I was woken up
in the middle of the night by an attack - my attacks have always in the past
been anywhere between 1pm and 4pm, this was the first time it was later.

Nervous about doing another flush - I feel like I have opened Pandora's box
and don't want more pain. I need to lose weight, and I have started
exercising, so am hoping this will help over time too. Been trying to be
more good with diet, but paradoxically, as I have been exercising regularly,
I have been overeating to compensate. I am hoping as I get fitter and can
cope with more exercise that I will balance this. Only time will tell.

I know actually that the gallbladder attacks are heavily affected by stress
in my case, and I am the most stressed I have been in my life, so am working
very hard at getting rid of all the stressors (so I should get back to
balancing the books!)

cheers
Teresa
