I had 9 Amalgams out, one tooth pulled, and 3 cavitations done. After I went back to get my partial, the dentist casually mentioned that if the cavitations aren't properly cleaned out you can develop Arthritis when you get older. I had noticed the day after getting my dental work done that the Arthritis in my hands was totally gone. I had forgotten to tell him about that so when he mentioned it like that I was shocked.

It sure pays to have a good dentist!!
