Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and Stem Cells

I have an Aunt that has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and has been classified in the stage 3 category. She has been treated twice with chemotherapy. In addition, she is considering a stem cell(mantel cells)transplant along with this round of chemotherapy. The Doctor has advised that the method of extracting the stem cells is very painful and she will be out of commission for about 2 months. I would like to provide my Aunt some information related to this subject. My question is if there is someone out there that has been in, or is familiar with someone in this situation that has experienced success or failure? If you would be so kind as to share any information related to this subject, I would greatly appreciate it.
