Re: I have seen this alternate cure work
I really don't understand that, because the combo of cottage cheese and flaxseed oil certainly CANNOT do any harm at all (unlike the chemo and radiation which destroys your immune system). You might mention to her that and say that why doesn't he try it since it cannot harm him, and he can take it together with whatever else they are doing in the hospital......the problem is that doctors themselves for the majority will not believe anything other than mainstream. My mother was diagnosed with macular degeneration years ago and I did intensive reading and read about the lutein and vitamins that slowed the progress of the disease and even sometimes stopped it. When I mentioned to the doctor, he dismissed it completely and said it wasn't proven and she would be wasting her time (how could she waste her time by taking vitamins and eating properly I have no idea??) and she then lost central vision in 1 eye. I convinced her to change doctors and she thanks me everyday now for this. This new doctor, very prominent in NY, told her the best thing (rather than the lasar dyes etc that they were doing to her previously) was to take occuguard and eat lots of spinach, and it has been 2 yrs now and it seems her vision in the other eye has actually improved, aside from absolutely no advancement at all of the macular. So everyone should consider all options available. I personally believe there are cures for most diseases, esp. cancer, but that the drug companies are blocking this, of course it isn't convenient at all for them to have a very simple inexpensive cure for cancer, such as low-fat cottage cheese mixed with a $12 bottle of flaxseed oil (that lasts 2-3 months).
