Just so you know this thread is 5 years old so you may not get any replies. Have you posted a new message asking for help. Actually I think it better to just read through as many of the most recent threads as you can and you will get tons of great info (of course, as always, one should keep a critical eye open when getting info from anywhere).

I know how you feel, I have posted here desperate before. My mom has advanced cervical cancer that also spread to her lungs (as well as spleen and liver). I moved home almost 4 months ago to help her and when I got here she was almost dead. She is doing soooo much better now (knock on wood), the Dr. is shocked and says so every time he sees her lately. He thought she'd be dead by now, I am sure, but here she is getting better not worse. She has combined chemo and natural treatments. I personally beleive the chemo (as much as I despise it) has knocked back the cancer while all the natural treatments have supported her body and protected her against the chemo....if not for the diet and supplements I really think the chemo would have killed her....hell it almost did twice actually. It may still, that or the cancer but right now I I have hope that she may be around for a long time.

She used to only be able to walk to the bathroom, needed oxygen all the time, and had fluid built up in her lungs among other problems. All that has ceased for the last month and a half or so, with the expetion of pain but that has improved. One thing I can tell you now, from what I have learned through all this is you need more than just one approach. I give my mom flax oil and yoghurt in a smoothie every morning but that is one tiny peice of the whole plan.

If you like I can let you know exactly what my mom has done. What kind of cancer does you mom have?
